Phil Mickelson “I can’t go on the PGA Tour, but it’s peaceful… Majors will play”

Phil Mickelson (USA) announced that he would participate in major tournaments this year.

In an interview with Sports Illustrated, which was reported on the 31st (Korean time), Mickelson told how he is living as a LIV golf player suspended from the US Professional Golf (PGA) Tour.

Mickelson, who stood at the forefront with LIV Golf CEO Greg Norman, is unable to play on the PGA Tour. This is because the PGA Tour suspended all players who joined LIV Golf. It is highly likely that he will not be able to compete in the Ryder Cup, the continental competition between the United States and Europe to be held this year.

Mickelson said, “Even if I can’t play in the PGA Tour, I’m so peaceful,” and planned this year to participate in all 14 major tournaments in 2023 and participate in 19 tournaments at LIV Golf.

He will begin the season on February 25 with the opening round of LIV Golf in Mayakoba, Mexico. He is also planning to participate in the Masters this year.  먹튀검증

He said, “The tournaments I can leave my mark on are majors. They leave memories for life. Who cares if I win a regular tournament? Other majors will also be unique and special moments. It’s one of the tournaments I want to be good at.” .

He said something similar about the Ryder Cup. “I’ve been to the Ryder Cup 12 times as a player and once as a vice-captain. I’ve had more great experiences than anyone else,” Mickelson said.

After choosing LIV golf and spending a season, he said, “Many people thank me.” I think I have a chance to win one more major in 2020.”
