Montaño, who stepped on Korean soil to win, “I will show you as a result”

Hyundai E&C took out a knife to win.

Hyundai E&C did not come down from the top spot by running alone in the 2021-2022 season, but had to be satisfied with first place in the regular league as the season ended early due to Corona 19.

Hyundai E&C, which is challenging안전놀이터 to win once again, met a new reef. Yasmin Bedardt has been sidelined for a long time due to a back injury. Hwang Yeon-ju played a good role in Apogee, but I couldn’t rely only on Hwang Yeon-ju forever.

Yasmin, who has not appeared on the court since the third round. Since the V-League is highly dependent on foreign players in offense, Hyundai E&C eventually replaced foreign players. On the 6th, Hyundai E&C recruited Yvone Montaño (registered name Montaño), who played an active part in the Turkiye League.

Although the contract was signed on the 6th, the issuance of the international transfer agreement (ITC) was not completely resolved, so the Dodram 2022-2023 V-League Women’s Division 5th round Heungkuk Life Insurance match held at the Suwon Indoor Gymnasium on the 7th failed.

Although not on the court, Montaño visited the stadium and watched the team play. Montaño, who had his first interview with reporters before the game, said, “I am excited and happy to come to Korea after several tryouts.”

Reporters and volleyball fans filled the Suwon Indoor Gymnasium. Montaño, who encountered the heat for volleyball, said, “A lot of reporters and fans came. It is exciting and new to be able to come into contact with such an environment. It will be time to figure out how to solve the game in the future through watching this game.”

He continued, “It was canceled once, but I remember being very sad. I think I took a good opportunity to join in a situation where Hyundai E&C is giving good results,” he said, along with his feelings about being called by Hyundai E&C.

Hyundai E&C has been holding the top spot since the beginning of the league. In a situation where you are getting good grades, joining can come as a burden. But Montaño took it for granted.

“I didn’t think it would be easy coming in mid-season,” Montaño said. The burden is part of what I have to carry. In the end, the results should show. I feel the pressure, but I will try to the end without giving up.”

He said that he watched the match between the V-League and Hyundai E&C through YouTube before coming to Korea. Montaño said, “Korea is a team with good defense, so it won’t be easy to attack. However, I will talk about how to solve it not only by hitting the ball hard, but also through practice with the coaches.”

He didn’t miss introducing himself to V-League fans who didn’t know much about himself yet. “I really like volleyball. He is a player who does his best for the team regardless of practice and game. The most important thing is a player who carefully puts his best effort into each ball.”
