Professional soccer K League 1 (1st Division) player Lee Seung-woo (Suwon FC) has been named the August Player of the Month.
The Korea Professional Football Association announced today that Lee Seung-woo has been named the EA SPORTS K League Player of the Month for August, sponsored by Electronic Arts, the official videogame partner of the K League. This is the second time Lee has won the award in his career after winning it in June last year.
A total of four games from the 25th through 28th rounds of the K League 1 were evaluated.
Lee won the award with 37.09 points, beating out runner-up Thiago (29.85 points – Daejeon).
Lee appeared in all four matches and scored three goals. In particular, he scored the game-winning goal in the derby against Suwon Samsung on August 12 after a nimble move deceived the defense in first-half stoppage time.바카라
He was named the Man of the Match (MOM), as well as the Best 11 and Round MVP of Round 25.
The Player of the Month award is voted on by the Federation’s TSG Technical Committee (60%) from among the MOM, Best 11 and MVP players of the month’s K League 1 matches, with an additional fan vote (25%) and FIFA Online 4 user vote (15%) to determine the winner.
Lee will receive a trophy and cash prize.
