Heungkuk Life to hold training camp in Japan from 14th to 20th…”Kim Yeon-kyung and triangular squadron will complete attacking power”

Women’s professional volleyball team Heungkuk Life will hold a training camp in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan, from July 14 to 20.

Led by head coach Marcello Abondanza, the team will set up a training camp in the gymnasium of JT Marvels, a prestigious Japanese club with which the team has a long-standing relationship. In their first overseas training camp in five years after the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the team will focus on maximizing their practical experience through joint training with the JT Marvels.

The team plans to play as many practice games as possible to perfect the offensive power of the trio centered on outside hitter Kim Yeon-kyung. Starting with a scrimmage against Himeji on the 15th, the team will play three scrimmages against the JT Marvels from the 16th to the 19th. The team will prepare for the upcoming 2023-2024 season by perfecting the chemistry between attackers and setters.

Coach Abondanza said, “In my first training camp since taking over, I will focus on maximizing the players’ organization. We will try to improve our deficiencies through practice matches with JT, who is a strong player, so that we can show a good performance in the new season.”바카라
