Rookie Yoo Hyeon-in (23), who graduated from KT, enjoyed the honor of stepping on the ground with superstars again following the JTBC baseball entertainment program ‘Strongest Baseball’.
The Korean WBC baseball team, led by head coach Lee Kang-cheol, conducted training on the 2nd day at the main stadium of Kino Sports Complex in Tucson, Arizona, USA on the 17th (hereafter Korean time). Korea will have its first practice game against NC Dinos at 5:00 am.
Between the national team’s field team, two young players wearing KT Wiz’s spring camp training clothes stood out. Infielder Son Min-seok and 7th round infielder Yoo Hyeon-in, who were nominated in the 3rd round by KT in the 바카라2023 KBO Rookie Draft, were the main characters.
Why did they train with the national team players? According to a KBO official we met at the site, the national team requested the dispatch of players to the KT club, which is the day of training break, to recruit infielders for practice games.
Korea has only five infielders: Choi Jeong, Kim Hye-seong, Oh Ji-hwan, Park Byeong-ho, and Kang Baek-ho, as the Keystone combination of Kim Ha-seong (San Diego Padres) and Tommy Edman (St. Louis Cardinals) is holding a spring camp for their team. Accordingly, Hyun-in Yoo and Min-seok Son transformed into daily infielders for the national team to facilitate the practice game.

The practice game against NC will be played in 7 innings.
